Formerly occupied by HSBC, the development offers the opportunity to regenerate the site through a sensitive repositioning of the asset by bringing forward a new hotel and student accommodation complex. Designed by Glancy Nicholls Architects, the hotel will include a bar, lounge, restaurant and reception area.

The area will be further developed by the consented £300m mixed use development of New Garden Square which is designed to incorporate offices, residential accommodation, a hotel, retail, and food and beverage amenities set around an attractive public realm. The regeneration of Edgbaston Village will also see the asset benefit significantly from the extension of Birmingham’s Metro Line up into Hagley Road.
