Mercia Real Estate has completed the letting of its 161,145 sq ft industrial unit in Rugeley, Staffordshire. The former JCB Cab Systems unit was acquired with full vacant possession and has recently undergone an extensive refurbishment programme.
A five-year lease has been agreed with DCG Logistics UK Ltd at market terms.
The letting, which was agreed in July 2021, signals completion of the asset management strategy executed by MRE upon acquiring the property. Having purchased the asset in November 2020, the property has been successfully refurbished and let within 9 months of acquisition.
Mercia Real Estate were advised by Knight Frank on the letting.
