Mercia Real Estate is a leading real estate investor and asset manager based in Birmingham, at the heart of the UK.

Our core geographical market is the Midlands and surrounding regions, with our portfolio diversified across a variety of different sectors and asset classes. Meet the experts
We are a small team of dynamic, forward-thinking individuals that knows that past success is no guarantee for the future. We come from a variety of backgrounds including development, investment, project management, estate management and construction.
Samuel is a multi-disciplined professional with expertise in both commercial and residential property. Samuel is an expert at financial structuring and oversees the acquisition pipeline, portfolio and asset management strategies, develops the business plan and leads new business initiatives to enhance value and sustainability for the company. Prior to establishing MRE, Samuel was a Director at SevenCapital and Development Director at the Housing Growth Partnership a private equity fund backed by Lloyds Banking Group and Homes England responsible for making equity investments into UK house builders. Samuel is a Chartered Surveyor.
Alex is our General Counsel and responsible for overseeing all of our projects from a legal perspective as well as managing instructions to external counsel. Prior to joining MRE, Alex spent over 10 years in private practice, the majority at a top 50 law firm, where he was made one of their youngest partners ever in May 2023. Whilst in private practice, Alex specialised in real estate development projects delivering for clients across a range of sectors.
